The Security Research Event will take place 5-6 December 2018, Brussels.
Under the theme "Making Europe a safer place: demonstrating the impact of EU-funded security research", SRE 2018 will demonstrate the strength and inspiring results of security-related research and innovation activities and how these positively contribute to the work being conducted on a daily basis by thousands of security practitioners.
The Security Research Event (SRE) will consist of two interrelated parts:
The 11th Plenary Meeting of the Community of Users on Secure, Safe and Resilient Societies took place 4 - 7th June 2018, Brussels, BAO Congress Centre (rue Félix Hap 11, 1040 Brussels)
The 10th Community of Users Meeting on Secure, Safe and Resilient Societies took place between 5 - 8 March 2018 in Brussels, Belgium. Organised by the European Commission - DG HOME, the CoU Meetings are a series of events, taking place several times a year.
The 9th Plenary Meeting of the Community of Users on Secure, Safe and Resilient Societies took place on 06/12/2017. Presentation slides from, the plenary meetings and the workshops can be downloaded here.

This meeting focused on Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) risks.
An Innovation Fair on CBRNE was also held on 11 October 2017.
